The Commission Process
1. Initial Consultation
We begin by discussing your space, preferred colour palette, dimensions and the atmosphere you want the artwork to create.
2. Concept & Planning
Using photographs, room dimensions and inspiration images, I develop a considered concept tailored to your interior and the feeling you want to achieve.
3. Creation
Your artwork is handcrafted in my studio in County Kerry using premium materials and Ciúnas Studio's signature textural techniques.
4. Delivery
Once complete, your artwork is carefully prepared and securely packaged before being delivered to you, ready to become part of your space.

Shutters Lounge & Bar, 5 Star Dromquinna Manor, Kenmare
Two bespoke textured abstract artworks, including the diptych Fault Line, were commissioned for the newly redesigned Shutters Lounge & Bar at 5 Star Dromquinna Manor, Kenmare.
Created specifically for the space, the artworks were designed to complement the interior through layered texture, warm metallic accents and a rich contemporary palette inspired by the surrounding landscape.

House 15 — Boutique Hotel, Kenmare
House 15 is a boutique hotel in Kenmare, County Kerry, where I created a collection of textural works specifically in response to the character of the interiors.
The works combine layered modelling paste, acrylic and warm metallics, with deep charcoal, espresso brown, burgundy and earthy tones reflecting the rich, atmospheric spaces throughout the hotel.
Featured works include Patina, a richly textured statement piece; Threshold, a triptych exploring layered texture and metallic detail; and Vestige, a larger work incorporating deep burgundy, earthy tones and warm metallic accents.
The project reflects my approach to hospitality artwork: considering colour, scale, texture and lighting so each piece feels integrated into the interior while retaining its own presence.

What sizes do you offer?
Commissions are available in a range of sizes, from intimate works to large-scale statement pieces. The size can be tailored to suit your space and the desired impact of the artwork.
Can you work with my existing colour palette?
Absolutely. Colour is an important part of the commission process. I can work with the tones already present in your interior while maintaining the distinctive Ciúnas Studio aesthetic.
How long does a commission take?
Most commissions take approximately 4–8 weeks to complete, depending on the size, complexity and current studio schedule. A timeframe will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.
Do you ship throughout Ireland?
Yes. Delivery throughout Ireland can be arranged, with international shipping also available by request.
